I watched the video and I still can't figure out "Why" I should buy one except to have a dedicated Gold MD?

It IS a dedicated gold detector - if you don’t want that - don’t buy it - duh

There is indeed the question of whether we even need dedicated gold detectors now that we've got the Equinox with 6" coil. I'm still waiting to see head-to-head tests of the 24k vs the Nox, but people have reported success using the Nox for gold prospecting.
