Hello to all!

I recently retired and have been an avid rock and mineral collector for years. I've also done gold panning and metal detecting, and I'm looking forward to getting back into it on a more regular basis.

I know there are a few prospecting clubs in the Phoenix area, and I'll be checking them out as well. I belong to the GPAA and I see their chapter here.

Looking forward to networking with many of you and hopefully finding other folks in the greater Phoenix metro that I can go hunting with.

Welcome from Northwest Ohio. Wife and I graduated from Wickenburg back in 84. Lots of beautiful country up there I miss it at times.
Here is a YouTube video of a man who lives up by Wickenburg. He does rockhounding and metal detecting for nuggets. I hope you enjoy his videos. He also talks of a Gold Club that he belongs to. I believe his channel is called nugget shooter journals.
