Went hunting today with Rob aka Grayson Digger. We did not stay out long due to the 20 degree temps here in Ga. I got some cool relics that the homeowner wanted so gave them to her. They where a compact a heel plate and a horse tack rivet. We did not get a single wheat cent but did get these keepers. 1 was a tiny Sterling kids ring so I got some silver and I got something I never thought of finding. It is a 1847 Apothecary weight which Pharmaceutical Chemists (Pharmacists) used exclusively until the late 1960's to weigh drugs and prescriptions. The town we have been hunting had several Doctors in it according to the local historians. I aslso got a token from a Florida pool company and a latch with a August 1908 date on it. So I did manage silver and a 1800s coin/token of some sort.
