It would appear that the fine folks at Tiffany are against using metal detectors to find jewelry of the sort... just take a look at how they find it!

A year in prison? Wow. I figured because of the amount it would have been a lot longer. White collar crime really does pay

She also has to give back the loot and pay a large fine. But in general the white collar criminals get an easier break than the poor criminals. Naturally all the judges are white collar folks, whaddaya expect.

If you are rich and steal two million from an employer you get a year. If you are John Q. Public , you get the max.Speaking as retired LEO I've never saw the Just-us system as fair.Thank God for metal detecting as a stress reliever!!!
