I live in the sprawling suburbs and haven't really had the chance to get out and do any real relic hunting, so my finds have been limited to parks, woods and tot lots.

These are my "relics" from 2013. These were mostly found with the Minelab X-Terra 705.

Any other suburban relic hunters out there care to share their pics?

Hey, a ring! Nice! Yet to find a ring!

Pile o' clad too!

Two BSA items, that's cool, yet to find anything BSA too.

Looks like a good booty overall :)

Awesome finds, I think my spoon collection has grown ten fold also. I hear teh xterra is a great detector.

Neat finds!

Any chance that high school looking ring is from a local school? Some of us have interesting stories about the return of them to their owners of family members.

All of what is now "The Urban Jungle" was something else years ago. That is a nice group of finds. I also hunt "in town" a lot. Some of my most interesting finds have been from just a few blocks from home. Thanks for sharing your pix.

I did find the owner on facebook and returned it to her. The ring was from my high school so I wanted the person to have it back. Of course, if it was from the rival school down the street, I probably would have kept it. :D

I posted a thread on it on here a while back.

I found the two neckerchief slides about 5 feet a part form each other in the same field. I think they're pretty neat little finds. Brought me back to my days in the Cub Scouts.

VERY NICE CUB SCOUT KERCHIEF SLIDES! Excellent shape. I had posted a couple of weeks ago I went to where my Boy Scout troop met and found the slide I lost the first night I wore the uniform in 1964. 49 years ago
Two days later I went to my old college campus and found a Cub Scout slide. Both were found within the first half dozen swings I made.
As you can see they are not as nice as yours but rank as my favorite two finds!

You actually found the one you lost? That is amazing. My mind would be blown if I found something like that. The older slides are a lot cooler looking than the newer ones. It's finds like those that keep you going out and hunting for more.
