Have been hitting an old homestead lately. Found a pocket knife, pieces of mason jars. Well last time I noticed a Crapemyrtle <sp> Well right by it is a nice little indention.. So I do a couple of test digs. And they come up with porcelin. So we went back after this last rain. And here is what it gave up. Some have very nice ornate items on them. Now just have to put them together.

Cool! Keep digging you never know,the next mason lid may be still attached to the jar lfilled with silvers..

It sure makes it fun. I am wondering what else they have thrown down deep in this old outhouse. Anyone know if there was a standard depth they dug these to? Or just until they got tired of digging?
