Reilly's Sand scoop handle

On Bill Myer's DVD, Hunting Florida's Beaches, he shows a handle to his scoop which has a loop extension to use to attach a cord to his belt for dragging the scoop. I can't seem to find one and wondered if anyone knows a manufacturer. I have searched the internet but haven't seen a picture of one.

I added parachute cord loops to the handles of both of my RTG scoops. All you need to do is drill the hole in the top handle so the cord fits. Use a stainless washer with an outside diameter just smaller than the inside tube. Tie a large knot, put it through the washer and then set the washer inside the rubber handle. The friction holds it in place and I've never had one come loose.

I never liked the idea of being tethered to my scoop. I have fallen into holes and would have left my scoop if I needed to. live to hunt another day. HH, phil
