Roger Smith...RIP

Married to Ann Margret so right there one of the luckiest guys in the world but he also had an acting career and he starred in a really cool show...77 Sunset Strip.
From the late 50's to early 60's this show was the epitome of cool, the first show that portrayed private eyes as much more than low rent low class fools...and spawned a million knockoffs ever since.
It had had good looking girls and guys, a finger snapping theme song and one cool convertible car among other things.
You youngsters I am sure might not have ever heard of this show but I still have the theme song rattling around in my head.
Like 3 networks back then so it was a popular show.

At the end of video of the various seasons opening credits they show two other shows from that period I remember well, Hawaiian Eye and Surfside Six!!

bad week for actors named Roger. Who's next? Interesting language trivia - In colonial times "rogering" was slang for intercourse. Maybe it still is.
