Found this a round an old school yesterday. Just wondering if it might have been attached to a trophy or something. From his neck to his longest leg it is 2 1/2 inches, inch and three quarters wide. It is definitely lead tried looking online could not find anything like it. Looks like it may have been 4 inches or so it has a gold color to it also.Would have been nice if the head was still attached.

A trophy sounds like a reasonable guess to me. Short shorts date back to the 70s?

With a laced basketball and better construction/detail of it I'd guess 1920's-30's.

It probably would date around that time. It has been a high school up till a few years ago.
