Got hold of the nice prof at ASC here in Alamosa, and he said WD-40 is OK for meteorites, but that he suggested 3-In-1 Oil........I haven't seen that stuff since I was a kid (many moons ago). Does that ring right??

I just saw the 3 in 1 oil at Walmart tonight and meant to get a can for my tumbler and forgot. I'm guessing that any hardware store would carry it as well.

Thanks!! It was kinda of an expensive trip, but I had never been to Nevada before and it had been 46 years since I was in Arizona........things had really changed!!!!
