The ground is frozen solid and covered with snow, but I got a 1949 rosie in the coinstar this morning.

Not the best pic but found this a couple days ago.1939.In a hunted out area.Garrett ACE 400.Not great, but it's a start..)

Just got back from my first hunt this year. Went to Harbor freight and got me a cheap raincoat, headed out to my favorite spot and was glad to see that most of the snow was gone, my first hole was a 1943 merc. First silver of the year!
plus a Kennedy half, a couple nickles, dime and quarter, and usual junk, it was kinda muddy work but enjoyed every minute of it. HH

It’s great for two reasons...it’s a silver quarter and you found it. Nothing more you need to know...other than where more are.
These days, that’s actually a damn good find.
