No person shall damage, vandalize, or deface any park property.

You need to be careful in a park like that. Most likely They dont want you there but if the police dont care too much you might be able to dig there and neatly put the plugs back. On the other hand I got nicely warned to leave once by a sheriff at a historic park.
 
Well the Ordinance says the same thing here. The park guys all know me and we talk, the cops drive by and wave. For one thing they know I have a habit of picking up trash while I hunt. I know some say you do not have to leave a park cleaner than when you got there, but to me it promotes good will. Which in my opinion is always a good thing. Also before I got into detecting I would pickup trash on the National Forests when I was out doing my photography. I prefer to leave places better than I found them, it is one of those principles my grandfather taught me that I follow.
