I think this is my first dime trifecta! I was searching a curbstrip in front of a house remodel. Some of the grass had been stripped out and large equipment had smashed the dirt down almost rock hard, but I could wiggle my shovel in with a little effort. Managed 9 really crusty wheats and the 3 silver dimes. The barber was so crusty with hard dirt, I didn't realize what it was until I cleaned it up in the sink. Nice surprise! Brings my silver coin count to 74 FTY. That gold colored aluminum token looked pretty good for a split second! Haha. Thanks for looking.

Killing the curbs!!! I've been researching some curbs recently and hope to hunt them tomorrow afternoon. These curbs are in a town incorporated in 1600's, so needless to say my hopes are high. Appreciate the post, and I find myself looking at curbs more and more due to your posts! Congrats!
 
Another great hunt Stiffy, congrats on the dime trifecta. Its been awhile since I dug one. And I can see how that gold token would have got the old ticker going. Curbstrips are now on top of my try list. Good luck Mark

Awesome job on the trifecta, congrats! My buddy found one of those gold tokens when we were detecting not too long ago and he got excited for a split second too.
 
Big Congrats on the trifecta! I envy you guys that hunt out in front of people's houses and especially those who knock on doors and are rewarded with fantastic permissions, this is my 4th year in the hobby and I haven't found the cookies to try it even once. Maybe I will break the ice this year with some curb strips. Congrats again on a great hunt!
 
Congrats on the trifecta and other finds! That gold colored token would've had me going for a second or two...:lol:
