First 2014 hunt yields first silver and tiny diamond!

With the wind blowing on the beach it was like -10c.
Only stayed about 3 hrs.
Found the small silver w/diamond in wet sand. The Timeranger works pretty well in the wet sand I was surprised.

I'm not laughing cause I use a BH Fortune Hunter cause that's all I can afford.. for now.
Sure makes you wonder what we are missing though..

I have tried updating my signature but it hasn't yet.
The Tracker IV is currently out of commission and last year bought a Time Ranger!

I am ready to upgrade.
Even have the money.
Just need to figure out which detector is best for my situaton.
I though amateur astronomy and telescopes had a lot of products to choose from.. until I found metal detecting! Sheesh!

Since most of my detecting is on salt water beaches I have gleaned from y'all I need a multi frequency detector.. that's about as far as I've gotten on figuring what to buy.
I am also a MAJOR Made in USA fan so I will be highly biased towards a US made machine.

Anyhow, sorry for the hijack.
