These guys on youtube are pretty entertaining and they did a couple of metal detector "battles" with AT pros. I thought they were pretty fun to watch so I thought I'd share them. Wonder if the "metal detector experts" are on here lol.

For those interested, these guys are not experienced, so the fun is in watching them give it a try in different locations. I just scanned through the video because I prefer not to listen to people yell and throw things. As far as I can tell they're not really making fun of the hobby, but not doing any favors to it either. It's nicely produced for what it is and their intended audience.

There are 60 million views on the first video so I can see why they made a follow up, which had nearly as many. With 50 million subscribers and assuming the song they featured was agreed upon with the artist/label and didn't cause them to lose all of their revenue, I bet they made a minimum of 5,000 dollars from each video.

Also, I'll just leave this here:

Hahaha did not realize the coil was backwards. I know they aren't experienced but they are fun to watch IMO.

The fact that they make over $2000 per million views and the first video has 60 million views is just insane to me. They could just buy all new equipment for whatever hobby they want, shoot a video and at the end of it just throw the equipment in a lake and walk away making a hundred grand. Strange world we live in...

My 7 year old grandson loves these guys, his 6th b-day party was Dude Perfect themed. They are fun to watch but their exuberance gets old after a video or two.

Not only is that guy's coil on backwards but that shovel setup is ridiculous.
