Thought I'd share a picture of the best Walking Liberty half dollar I've ever found with my detectors. I found this one at an alpine lake here in Southern Oregon using an old Whites 4000D Series 2 detector I decided to resurrect from my closet and let see the light of day again. This beauty of a half dollar was lying under about an inch of fir needles atop hard packed dirt and was in pristine condition after I gently washed it off in the lake. Retrieving my 10X loop I could read a date of 1934-S. A few days later I found a 1935-S Walker within 100 yards of where this one rested in almost identical condition.

Wow!!!! that's a beauty there. She didn't spend much time in circulation. Congrats on an excellent find.
