My last 3 hunts have been in the river. At some local spots that had heavy use turn of the century. After four hours in the river i was done. On my way home i came across a tearout. First coin 1925 wheat, then 1896 IHP,then a 1957 roise, all in about 30 mins. First pics are river finds.

6 months ago I got permission to search a lot in Fernandina Beach whose history goes back to the 1600s. The lot once held a house and then a restaurant and was across the street from the harbor.

After cleaning out the trash I found numerous musket and Minie balls, a pistol, pocket knife and assorted coins to 1853.

Two weeks after stopping I saw about 50 feet of sidewalk was removed. Found another Minie ball and a 1718 Spanish Reale. Was real glad I checked it out

I don’t recall the website but there’s a group you can connect with to return the military dogtag to the family. That means a lot to them.

Thank you, I’ve been in contact with Angelos Angels. I found the sticky in war and relic hunting tab. Hope to do a return.
