Well I'm about 1 year in and I finally got a ring. It was 29 at the beach with a 15 mph wind, sand was frozen where I was, could barely dig, I almost gave up.

I hit a good 26 with the Nox 600 at a beach entrance trail, after a good scrape and dig this ring popped out.

I dont think its much, what confuses me is it says "Stainless Steel 925"

Seem the inner two bands are not part of the ring itself, they can be rotated.

Are the inner bands Silver?

Congrats on the ring. Your hunch is probably correct. Just use a magnet to test it.

Spinner ring - probably silver rotating on the SS. Congrats!

Nice find. I remember my first ring. It was gold and got me hooked.

Usually, things marked 925 have 92.5% silver in them. I say usually because I found a ring last week marked 925 and it was a plated fake.
I'd say yup, those bands are silver.
Easy way to tell is to hold and ice cube to it. If it melts it quick, it's silver.
Congrats!
