i need a fix for tejon constant beep

I have a tesoro tejon. the last time i used it = no problem. This time = new batteries, cleaned battery holder, etc. I turn it on and get a beep, beep, beep, bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppppppppppppppppppp
It won't stop. Switched and adjusted all the knobs.........
I checked the voltage inside the unit and it is about 12.8V so it isn't a low battery issue.
Any ideas? = any schematic available? - I have searched for days.

maybe a bad new battery. tesoro tejon has lifetime guarantee of that detector?
are you the original owner?

Check your cable to be sure it's seated and snugged into the control box.

Are you testing it in your indoors? Take it outside, away from any possible interference (including cell phone).
