Hi
I'm a complete rookie detectorist in the UK. We are in lockdown at the moment and I can't get out with the detector, but I have been using it in my back garden and have found a lot of old iron junk, and one or two slightly more interesting things.
The detector was a present for my son (10 years old) for Xmas - he's showed some interest, but I think he will be more up for it when the weather improves and we can go further afield.
Any other UK people here?

), and to do exercise. Not allowed to combine things like metal detecting with walking - they have said that that constitutes ’leisure’ rather than exercise.
