Hit the lake after work yesterday. 1st target a quarter/dime spill, next target, a ring. Hard to see, but, can see markings inside. Looks like 10K. Cool, got white gold right off the bat. Not hitting many targets, so I move up closer to the high water line. After a few minutes of digging old, crusty beavertails and pull tabs, I hit a 2' x 2' spot and dug out 5 pennies, 3 dimes, 1 nickel, and 11 quarters. Hit the jackpot. Ended up with $3.61 in clad which is a good day for me at the lake. Get back to my truck and check the ring with a loupe, 18K. Hot dog, I did hit the jackpot. Then see the GE. The ring is looking kinda funny to me by now. Sure enough, junk. Not even silver. Got my hopes up and shot me down. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. I'll be back trying again this afternoon after work I hope. Keep on keeping on and HH.
