Well, the water temp is dropping fast with the cool nights. With the record high water level the past few years and peaking this year, it's turned the hunting into almost all fresh drops only. Gold finds are quite rare any more. There are countless beaches from the indiana line by New Buffalo and up to Grand Haven. Just head West from Kzoo. Prolly want at least a shorty wetsuit, but it's time for full 2mm minimum+ already, if going beyond knee deep. Several beaches are decimated with no dry beach left, goes from dune cliff straight to water's edge. South Haven is due West from Kzoo, has a North and South beach with nice long gradual slopes. Grand Haven further North is similar, state park. Cross your fingers for East or South East wind.
