i had a great time the last couple sunday hunts with george/swinlgow...we first hit the old school and farm house and the coins were just poppin out of the ground....i got a couple silvers and my second FE an 1857 and my first 1858 austria 1 kreuzer....i got four IHs a buff and a bunch of wheaties...i thought i was on a copper spill but they were cattle tags...awesome hunt...
last week we decided to try an old field and george scored a sweet DB largie....i didnt get much but a fired round ball and a cool old bail seal....we decided to try a spot up the road and found a cellar....after pullin ridiculous amounts of pull tabs....i decided to work along a row of pines that looked like they would have been yard boundaries....i hit a great little spill.....8 wheaties, 2 ihs, V nick, Buff, pocket knife, 2 fuses and my first train token!
thanks agian to george for some good hunts and great times!thanks for lookin!!

That was a good haul
congrats on bringing that stuff back from the dead

Thanks again to all of your replies!! Can't wait to get back to the farm and school house!!

I do love all the old coins and other neat stuff but my favorite is the miniature hammer! I love things like that! That was a super hunt!

Who would've thought your FE would be trumped by mini hammers. Didn't you find a few of them that day?

Hopefully we can get back out there this weekend but it's looking iffy right now. I wanna find that bottle dump next time and hit the backyard again where you found all the cattle tags.
