I found these non-ferrous items in a meadow which is located in the grounds of an Old English hall which I have permission to search.

Item 1) What on earth is it?

Item 2) A button? See where my spade hit it... lol?

Item 3) A buckle? Any ideas on a year?

Any help with these as always will be gratefully recieved - TIA.

Not sure about 1 or 3, but 2 could definitely be a large flat button. I have found one before.

(1) maybe a broken candle stick (2) a button and (3) i have the same thing with bad salt water decay mine i think is copper or brass tuff to tell what it is.

hello WOolie , i'll take a stab at it no.1 part of a brass bed , no.2 is an old pewter tomback button , and no.3 the buckle is from around the late 1500's ??
