Some items I never posted.

Back in the spring, I got out some items that I found 10 years ago, and protected them with tung oil. I know the heel plates, and there is one insignia that is surely post Civil War, but some of these items I don't know. The buckle that is pictured separately has the number 100 on it. There is also a coin that has maybe Caesar on the face, but I photoed the back. looks like someone sitting down on something? The small lock has US on it, and I have been told that it was a mail bag lock?Just curious as to what these items may be. Thanks for any help.

ive been trying to figure out what that coin is,my eyes arent very good so i enhanced the photo a bit,still cant figure it out but here is your pic lightened up a bit for a little better detail.

Your coin looks like an UK William IV 1/3 farthing. From 1830's or thereabouts.

Thanks for the info. I have found some foreign coins in some strange places over the years. I wonder how much an old "fart" is worth?
