Happy New Year!
A few friends and I just received a gift from Mother Nature, a tiny beach in our area that bared some virgin ground. It was productive, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. This is my haul from 3 days, maybe 3 hours per hunt. Hopefully the others who were there will chime in with pics, one friend dug a 1/2 ounce 950 platinum band!

Wow! That is a great haul from the beach covering a good time span as well. Once in a while things come together like that. Got to love those days when the moon and the stars align! Congratulations!

:dingding: It's hard to imagine a better start to 2022 than that! :wow:

Good lord what a great 3 days. Love the Hawaiian wedding band and "raw" gold band. This is definitely better than most peoples years find. Huge congrats!!!

Awesome!
Only a few detectorists will find that much in a lifetime much less 3 days.
That certainly paid for a few machines.

Fine...I see where I rate :( I wasn't even invited (all expenses paid of course).

I feel so unloved :)

Congrats though....that's an AWESOME haul.

Jackpot! You hit it big with those few hunts. Wow, more keepers than some get in year. Congrats on all the fine saves. Love the class ring, what year ? Good luck, Mark

Beautiful! Better stay on it, these spots can disappear over night. had one just like, got so much it was like a dream. One storm..covered..gone.. I still go back about once a month.. Nada.:(

Aaron, thanx for turning me on to the tip. And thanx for letting my friend and I join you ! Although you kicked everyone's b*tt out there @ the 2 nights I was there with you. There's a nasty rumor going around that you planted those rings and only pretended to find them . 'FESS UP !

I won't even post my meager picture : 3 gold rings (of which 2 were wimpy light weight wire-rings, and the other a modern 14k band). Some silver rings, some coins (of which a few were toasted silver).

What was strange , is that the rest of us were getting fishing sinkers and coins in the same ratio as you. But you were red-hot and in the exact spots I guess (I refuse to admit it was skill ! It was only "sheer luck !" )

But seriously now, we are all wiser to the phenomenon you discovered. And I aim to come out with both guns blazing on the next super low minus tide coming up in a few weeks. Be there or be square !! :cool3:

Well The sand must of eroded out to sea exposing the base rock, no? ....

Actually, yes and no.

There hasn't been any erosion lately in CA (to speak of). So *ordinarily* the super high/low king tides, that just passed , would do no good. If there's no erosion, then the super minus tides do nothing more than reveal acres and acres more sterile beach with no targets. Doh !

But Aaron wised up to a certain new strategy. Perhaps he wants to expand on this ? Or perhaps it's proprietary ? I'll let him answer.
