My First YouTube Video - It's Garbage!

Well, finally convinced myself that I had to use my GoPro, and put up a video. It was more work than I thought it would be from the front end (adding video'ing to your detecting completely changes the flow, it just feels weird) to the back end of editing.

Anyhoo, it's complete garbage, so it can only get better, hahahaha.

Thanks brother, there is definitely a learning curve to it. Learning the video editor makes me feel ollllllllld.

I watched it too.. 38 minutes I can never get back !! j/k

It was actually pretty good.. felt more like how I would do it.. and not scripted in the least. I found that refreshing.. just a dude out hunting !!

one thing I would probably do though if it was me.. as a land hunter like you I get what you were doing but if I was that close to the water and I knew the target was in my scoop.. I would of saved the time and washed the sand out of my scoop in the water leaving the target in the scoop.. instead of having to pin point it.

Over all Chris .. great job and keep it up !!!

Ahhhh, I didn't even think of that. Duh me. Thanks! What's funny is I used to water detect full time when I lived in Hawaii, but there all I did was wear a weight belt and fan my targets, never needed a scoop.

Right? If he had been using a screwdriver to stab all that shallow clad, he coulda condensed the total time factor down to about 5 minutes with the same take home results! !

I actually watched it and enjoyed it Chris!! Seeing a guy take 5 minutes to root up a well manicured and active sportsfield for a 2" penny made me feel all warm and fuzzy and superior to you!
