Got out for my second hunt of the year and decided on the nox 800 for wet sand and shallow water with my boots as opposed to waders and the excal. Shorter than usual hunt due to darkness but SUCCESS. First gold of the year and first gold with the nox. I thought it was cursed after buying it 6 months ago and no gold after seeing everyone post their nox finds. Well today I finally scored 4.4 g of 18k. In the scoop I got excited but the weight didn’t feel right and the outside engraving threw me off but when I got home I saw the engraving inside ,looks like a laser what a pleasant surprise. Anyway enough rambling sorry but I’ve been in a gold slump for a couple months. Happy new year and happy hunting

Congrats on the gold! That thing must be TINY, to be 18K and 4.4grams!
Last 18K I got was a tiny size 4, I think, and at 3.34 grams, it didn't even fit my pinky. :)
