A buddy of mine and I went to a house from the 1840’s monday. . Had a huge front yard. The type with the giant old trees lining both sides. Hopes were high, but it would appear it has already been detected. Conductive targets were very few and far between - Even junk. Did not appear to be fill dirt either. Anyway, after a couple hours of one wheat and one Indian, I head toward an area that looked like it might have been previously ignored. Almost instantly, I find a ‘37 merc and right afterward, a 1837 LC. Of course, I removed the date with a mild tooth brushing. Ha! Went on and found this 1913s Barber dime, which turns out to be a semi key date(510,000 minted).
Unfortunately my friend found very little. But any day with a pair of silvers and a LC is a good one in my book.

Oops. Sorry sideways pics.

Good luck and Happy Hunting, all!
