This is my second jewelry find since I started metal detecting on the beach.. This is what got me hooked to metal detecting, such a nice piece. I just don't know what it is? I have taken it to a couple pawn shops and even a couple coin shops and everyone has different opinions. Just wanted to see if maybe one of you guys know. Thanks for any reply.

Try posting it in the "Help ID My Finds" section, some of the guys that frequent that forum are awesome at IDing coins. I... am not one of them. :D

Wish I could make out a letter around the rim.

"I'd like to buy a vowel"

Looks hammered.

At work so I can't post a link but someone try loking at RIC 379. It's the ID catalog number for a possible match....yes I think it's roman.

Wow

Wow there are so many that look close. No wonder the coin shops gave me different opinions

im really leaning toward something english just due to how the bottom of the bust looks and reverse deffinately looks an awful lot like a seated britannia. not sure hmmm ill have to do some more digging
