Robby, where are you from? Your profile says Florida but I know you're not getting Blakes Lotaburger there.

Also, do I see green chili on that burger? Blakes green chili is like setting your mouth on fire. I love it!!!!! :D

And only a New Mexican would eat tortilla soup.

Spaghetti sauce made from scratch on some good thin spaghetti topped with fresh grated cheese, and garlic toast. Dang! Now look what ya did to me. I have to go find a drool bib.

I lived in NEW Mexico (Albuquerque) from 83 to 2010... NOW we live in Florida but we get Green Chile (not CHILI) sent to us when we can't get back there to get it. We were there in June and got 33 pounds of it from Costco in Albuquerque.

Yes, that was a Blake's double meat green chile cheesburger, as I said A NEW MEXICO TRADITION. And the chicken tortilla soup was homemade from my wife's own recipe, and a GOOD ONE IT IS!! She cooks enchiladas, rellenos, green chile stew, beans (pintos) and everything else New Mexican like a native. Even the girls she worked with there said she cooks pretty good mexican food for a white girl...

We've got a great batch of light-you-up Hatch hot in the freezer right now! We love it too.

To get that good New Mexican food in Florida you had to take your own cook with you. You're lucky. My wife's maiden name is Diaz and she grew up in a very small town south of Las Cruces. The food is in my blood and I don't think I could do without it. :D

BTW, thank you for correcting my spelling on CHILE. If other New Mexicans saw that I'd be run out of the state.

Next time you're coming to town give me a shout. Maybe we can find a park for a quick hunt.
