I am looking to get the Missus a detector but it has to be lite and easy to use. Some form of discrimination would be good. To be used mainly on the beach. Any good candidates to look at?

Tesoro's are the lightest. The Silver uMax as well as the cibola and Vaquero are good candidates. If the beach is salt water you may want to look at a PI unit such as the Whites Surf PI Pro. If you need any more help in your decision or purchase , please let me know.
