Hi ;)

There my last hunt with the Deus and Deep program. I've found a nice Celtic ring, a bronze proto-money from 700 to 100 BC  Specialists aren't sure what this rings were for but it seems for both trading and religious purposes (votive/funeral offering).
Around 200 BC the Celts started to make their own coins, imitating the Greeks and Romans currencies, with their so special own styles.

I've found another cool stuffs and the usual scraps... Thanks for watching it and dont hesitate to comment there or on youtube :)

Happy hunts everyone

Well i'm living in Europe so here we have also the coins and artefacts from middle age, Celt/Roman ages, etc. But it doesn't paltry the nice currencies you guys have in the US :)
I'd love to find a quarter or something like that there (I know its possible, a friend found a 1903 gold dollar coin in a vineyard). I have found a US military button from WWI :) And I know an american from Oregon found an antic coin on a beach, so all is possible! :)

I really enjoy the video... the wordless, text-only is great. Watched some of your instructional videos on YouTube, and it would be great to see more of those! Thanks, and congratulations on the exciting finds!

Thanks for your support :) I haven't yet made instructionals videos, you may be talking about the German guy who is also doing "silent" hunts. I like his videos too and we have the same vision of what a metal detecting video should shows (so not only the finds and the boobs... but also the bad finds and above all how to react with different sounds).
In my last video, we hear the little sound that the Celtic ring makes. This is a hint that it's worth digging and insisting. I'm not sure that without sensitivity a little increased I will have caught it, but the Deep program is really very good.
I think the most important in metal detecting is to listen what your detector says to you, I try to show it in the videos :)

What part of France are you in? I visited several parts of France in 2005. I have a bunch of those 2 euro souvenir tokens from the tourist attractions.

I am in the center of France (Auvergne region), its wild nature and mountains. And from time to time a pretty coin lost centuries ago
What regions you visited?

Sorry about the mistaken identity, but I found your youtube channel now and subscribed! Looking forward to more! Cheers!

Sorry to be so long answering you.
I flew in to CDG, was taken by POV through Paris to Bourgogne, visited Auxerre and the surrounding area, then by train to Montpelier. From Montpelier, sleeper train to Paris. Stayed 4 weeks there, with weekend excursions to Normandie, the Loire Valley and Versailles.
