It's a unit made in the U K

Just answered this on the Treasure Net Forum. But in brief...made in China and not very good.

You don't want to waste your money... my employee wasted his buying this whatever... it has no depth to speak of.. on CT beaches it was about 4 inches... You would have just about as good a chance finding something without a detector.

Metal detecting is not a cheap hobby and we all know that... but the finds can be very rewarding... save up your money, get the best you can afford

aquavision pro

I have an xlt now and would like to experiment in the surf..
I didn't want to make a huge investment...
since I have already have with the xlt.
I am making a trip to beach in March
and wanted to experiment

any suggestions???

First off, welcome to the forum. Now, if you want to try several detectors for the surf, look to see if there might be a rental place close to where you are going, and see what it would cost to "TEST" a couple. I know another person that did this before they bought their machine. Seemed to work out for them. Or, if you know a friend that has a beach machine that you could borrow.
