The month of August has sure been treating me well. So far this month I've found 3 Barber dimes, 2 silver Washington quarters 3 V nickels, 1 War Nickel, and 4 Indian head pennies. Just last Saturday evening I found my first gold ring of the year, as best I can recall. And it was a beautiful 8.1g 14k Artcarved ring, my biggest gold find. Then today I landed my first 22k ring, 3.8g (stamped 916).

Just wanted to share.
Thanks for reading.

I went back out near where I found the 22k ring and added a 14k chain to my already unbelievable lucky streak.

OK...two nice rings is one thing, but now you are just showing off!!

Outstanding! That was one tough target I bet! Not at all like a ring! Which are tough enough to find in the dirt, and you got 2 beauties!...

Congratulations and really nice work! There is NO tougher a target than a dirt gold chain! Keep this streak going buddy! You are giving us all hope!

You aren't kidding either. The little piece of chain was the hardest. It was about 10 feet from the first piece of chain that I found, and it took a second hunt to find. Luckily about 7 minutes before I would have had a heat stroke, I finally found the other piece. The stones are not diamonds unfortunately.

It just goes to show it not all treasures have the same tone, you just never know till you dig.

*thanks for moving*

Awesome

Now that's a $treak!
I'm still waiting to find a wedding band...after almost 9 years detecting. I've found a gold chain (only because it had a small medallion on it), a class ring, and even a nugget ring, but the one I thought I'd have the easiest time finding has eluded me the longest.
Congrats!
