Looked around an old place I think was a house at one time lots of brick laying around and in the middle of 300 acres of pasture. Only had 2 hours but I thought this was interesting

That is AWESOME!!! I am an amateur locksmith and love old locks, That one would be fun to make a key for.... Great find!

This Here! ^^^^^ Thats about the most unique lock I've ever seen found!

Research its history, possibly sniff around and see if you can determine how much it is worth to a collector, and let us know what you find out! Thats the FUN about a find like that! Its yours now, so do a bit of research...

That's a reproduction you pulled up on eBay. The real ones aren't that expensive but they're are a lot of reproductions out there from what I've read.
