1/2 ton truck tag

I just dug this 1940 Arkansas 1/2 Ton Truck license plate and have only used a bit of soda water and a nylon brush for cleaning dishes to knock off the excess dirt. It's no doubt in rough condition and appears to have been ripped off the truck. Anyway I was just curious if anyone could tell me what it might be worth. I didn't see one like it when I checked eBay so that could mean anything.

I'm by no means an expert, but similar vintage plates I've seen at flea markets seem to go for $3-$10. I have no idea how the condition or rarity would influence the price to a collector. As a decoration it's pretty much shot.

Most people I see buying them are using them for wall decorations....

Ya no doubt it is a bit roached, but I'm sure it could be cleaned up a bit better, and it wouldn't be hard to repaint if someone just wanted it to look better.
