First two silvers FTY. They are silvers 2 & 3 ever for me :)

1917 D Merc. and 1909 Barber. First ever for me Merc. and second ever for me Barber.

Found several wheat cents, 1914, 1919, 1920, 1930 (before this trip I only had one!) and two buffalo nickels 1920, 19xx (second and third ever for me) And my favorite, a 1922 Philadelphia Rail Token :). My second ever token, and my first being a good for one fare type :)

Nice! We are token twins now with the Ok vendors as well! Ok, really I’m just catching up :)

How many tokens would you say you have found total? I’m at all of two :)

We are not far from you. Currently at the coast. I’ll PM you if we get close enough and can come meet up :)

Very cool finds !!

was hoping to see a D mint mark on that 1914 !

Thanks! Yeah that would have been nuts!

Nice silver finds.....that's a heap of trash you dug !

Thanks! Yeah, I’ve been leaning more towards dig it all lately. Dig it most, really :)

Sounds like a very enjoyable trip Mike. Congrats on the Merc and Barber Dimes, the Buffalo's, the Wheat's and all the rest. Trapper

Thanks! It has been. It’s hard to find spots when our are moving about, so it was rad to get to hunt with family and friends at their local spots :)

Mike, Glad to see Pa. was good to you. Where were you ? Congrats on the silver and an overall successful trip. I love those rail tokens, so far I have dug 3. I have seen or heard of many more found. All with a 1922 date, my theory is they were made to make up for the shortage of pennies in 22, as only 1922 D pennies and 22 Peace dollars were the only coins minted that year. Continued success and HH Mark

Hi Mark. Thank you Sir! Yeah, PA was better to me in time Detecting than CA has been! Hahaha. Was a great trip. Great detecting and great people. Such a beautiful and green state! We were in the greater Pittsburgh area. We did meet a guy in town who had found one of the train tokens as well, so yeah, apparently a lot were produced. His was 1922 also. Maybe that was the only year they produced them? Don’t know.

Thank you Sir and HH!

Congrats on the nice assortment of finds! If you're from Pittsburgh, you are now truly a yinzer detectorist having found a Pittsburgh trolley token.
