Glad to hear that you northerners are starting to get out and dig. I cain't wait to start seeing some posts/pics of you're finds. Down here we can hunt year-round but you guys/gals have the real old finds.

Yep..its thawing..only about 4-10 inches of snow left! :P

Ya, only 12 inches or so left here and then we still have to thaw the 12 inches of frost in the ground. I won't be out anytime soon unfortunately.

i went out today hoping to hit some tot lots and found the frost only 1 inch down. very bummed about that but we are getting closer. keith

Florida's history is right up there with New England's. What I wouldn't give to live somewhere where I had a reasonable shot at a Spanish cob or doubloon. Who knows, I may eventually end up down there someday! I have family there, and I always love visiting!
