Probably left over from the old days.
The old guys used to tell tales of the massive dish and remote herds that used to roam the plains.
I heard tell that you could stand on the side and it would take many hours for a herd to pass by...just dust and electronics as far as the eye could see.
Mount that thing.

Funny you mention that .. I found a TV remote the other day in the woods near a ball field.. it was an Eyeball find though so I considered it a LeaverRight.

That could be mine, I recently signed up with xfinity and threw my Direct TV remote as far as I could! PS- I've got a REALLY good arm !
