Just finished college this spring. Finished on time in 4 years and I can honestly say I haven't really been metal detecting over the last 4 yrs. The reality is you spend a very large amount of time studying and working. I can't count the number of times I planned on having some me time weeks in advance and it disappears when I get hit with papers and projects and work... You probably won't have a whole lot of free time during the semester to do much mding. Maybe during the winter and summer breaks you will have more time tho-hh and gl
Easy decision... if you have money to pay for college and an extra $600, then go ahead an treat yourself. But if you're going into debt to get through, or are counting on your parents to pay the bill, then you should be content with the Ace until you're done with studies or if find some gold rings with the detector you've got.
