the 1st pic is a few coins from a site near Lacombe, Ab. researched last winter, however when we arrived at the site to get permission, Martin & I were told that many had been there before us,,,so you know the old saying "they never get it all" proved to be true, my 1st coin a 1913 small leaf dime, followed by a Silver cuff link, then a 1949 dime and 2 pennies 1935 & 1936 too bad there was no dot on the 36' and the leaves were not broad on the 1913 dime!
The next was a beach hunt at Gull Lake which netted very few coins but interesting enough a 1975 10 cent piece that had me fooled till I could put my glasses on, thought it was a "little nickel", oh well maybe next time and a 1942 dime. A couple popcorn rings, no Gold
I went back to Gull Lake last night as Martin has found a couple more Gold rings, and hunted the shallows, finding a Silver ring and a ladies wedding band, both 6-8" deep, the Silver ring almost blew my ears off and the Gold one was ever so faint.
Happy Father's Day everyone! H.H.:-)
