Found at old logging camp

I found 2 of these about 50 yards apart at an old logging camp in Michigan. 1 had an "R" on it possibly for right? The camp dates from early 1900s to the 20's I believe.

I'm pretty sure it's part of an old wagon axle/hub assembly

Looks like part of an old well casing.
