Hello,
Found this Percussion Firearm Lock while searching around a late-1700s thru mid-1800's cellar hole. It is all iron and measures approximately 5.5" in its longest dimension.
Can anyone help ID? I have included three photos, one showing the full lock, another a closeup of some partial lettering on the lock side, and an annotated image with an overlay showing the visible lettering.
