and it was the first one KT opened....Surprizingly it gave no hint of being special as there were no silver enders showing.

The accounting:

Box 1 - 1 Ben, 10 40% Ag Kens, 6 NIFCs, 1 1987 Ken

Box 2 - 1 40% Ag Ken, 2 NIFCs

Box 3 - 4 NIFCs

Box 4 - 3 NIFCs, 1 Statue of Liberty Comm Proof (clad)

Box 5 - 1 64 Ken, 1 40% Ag Ken, 2 NIFCs

Totals: 1 Ben, 1 64 Ken, 12 40% Ag Kens, 17 NIFC keepers, 1 87 Ken, and 1 Statue of LIberty Comm Proof.

Guess we can say, We got back on the silver vein this week!

As they say, proof is in the pictures.....since everyone has seen NIFCs, KT only took pics of the silver and two other coins! See Below.

Here's wishing all in The Kingdom good MDing and CRHing this coming week!

KT is certainly happy to close out February on a positive and silver note!:laughing:

Congrats on all your finds, KT! :hi5: I really like the commemorative proof, would love to find one. And you can't go wrong with silver, especially the Ben & 90% Ken! :woot:

Real nice haul! Wish someone would dump some Franky's down this way. Still like finding them beach detecting since the run was short in years. Find a lot more Walkers.

Very nice finds it! Love those commems, and as always the silver !

Thanks for your comments, jkbemdavis! :D :D

KT rarely finds Walkers....but Bens a bit more common...interesting to hear you get more Walkers when beach detecting....would love to have a beach to hunt, it's a long days drive to the Gulf from KT's Royal Realm!:lol:

After the dump at the Royal bank, KT exited the bank...car next to the Chariot had just pulled out...on the pavement were two shiney zincolns laying heads up on the asphalt pavement, looking at KT, so His Majesty picked them up! 2 cents for the Queen, as she gets all overages!:laughing:

Nice haul once again KT! Franklins are always a nice surprise but 1964 90% Kennedys are my favorite to stack, and they were minted all the way into 1966. Lightly circulated therefore usually very crisp with little wear, meaning more bang for the buck -

Thanks for the interesting history concerning the extended minting of the 64 Kens! KT had read that the mint wanted to end the silver Kennedy halves and begin minting clad Kens in 65, but President Johnson would not hear of it, so the 40% Ag Ken was the compromise, which Johnson insisted on being minted through 1970. By then he had little political influence. And they converted over to the present clad series.
