After a week of warmer weather, this weekend the ground was finally thawed out enough for me to go out on a hunt today. It was still cold and pretty muddy, but at least I could dig.

I took my Equinox out for a spin at a local schoolyard I've hit lots of times before. It didn't disappoint - my second signal was a 1919-D Merc, and I also found a small silver ring marked "Sterling".

It felt good to be able to get out and even better to score some silver. I'll take a double-silver hunt any day! Thanks for looking - HH!

Awesome mercy and ring. A huge congrats from me. How deep was the merc?

Nice finds! Gotta love sterling rings. I always feel like the day is "complete" if I bag one of those. :)

Killer hunt, it’s still raining and sleeting here [emoji22]

Great outing with some awesome finds! It's been so cold and snowy here lately all I have is YouTube videos to watch until the next warm up.
