I found my first real button today, thought it was from 1850's or 1860's. I learned its only form WW1. Dont quite know the value. It is also the size of a Quarter a QUARTER thats a big button " I think?" I learned that it is a Military button. Thanks to all the help of my friend nuggetnoggin.

Very nice button - I just had the thought that to get an eagle to pose in that position, he would have to be dead.

Great button and it's in nice shape. While I agree that a button the size of a quarter is big, wait until you dig your first cloak button...closer to the size of a silver dollar. Congratulations.
