After I got the SIB ready for a trial run I spent a couple of hours on the beach at mid tide removing junk and a few clad coins.

Part of one silver earring topped the list of keepers!

Digging was no problem with the box out front.

I'm still learning what the GT is saying and picked every bottle cao and piece of aluminum as such, but found the snap tops to be a challenge.

The digging was easy due to many of the targets being exposed or nearly so by the recent rain and tides so I dug 'em all!! (At least any ???? signals!)

Next Sov post will be about SIB's water performance!

Nice! Also looking forward to your water review. My CZ is chest mounted and I like it there a lot.

Good job on the silver, looks like that waterproof sov gt is working out fine.
