My brother and I got out for a bit today. Another $13 in clad, (maybe I should change my sign on to Claddaddy Roy ). When I dug the little pendant (next to the penny) I did'nt know what it was until I cleaned it up. I believe it is silver but can't find a mark. Had a great time until the temperature hit 90. HH everyone.

The little tree charm is the Timberland shoe/boot company logo. Could be silver, or could be a junk metal trinket that was on a piece of apparel.

Oh, and the bar with the u shaped wire is a hitch retaining pin to a kid trailer that is pulled by a bike.

Those are pretty common. They are used for a lot of purposes.

Nice hunt. I've found some very tiny sterling marks on small pieces like that before. Sometimes it takes a 10X loupe and the perfect lighting + angle!
