Yesterday afternoon...The rain stopped, the shy cleared up and the sun came out earlier. I couldn't stand it any longer. I grabbed my newly made Super Sifter(gigmaster's design) and the Nox along with my Grey Ghost amphibian headphones and headed for the water(freshwater beach). It was already around 3:30 pm.. I started not to go as my neck was hurting.. I'm glad I did.. I scored another 10k ring.I also found a Military dog tag that I'll try to return.. The stone in the ring failed the diamond test.. some probably a CZ

No chatter.. I can use any of the modes with out any chatter. On this hunt I used Field2 & Beach1 and Sen 23

Congrats on the ring, sorry to hear the stone didn't test positive.
When I read a post like your's (fresh water) I think of the places I went swimming when I was a kid. Now I have no freshwater to hunt, only salt. Oh well cant complain too much. Perhaps when I fly to the mainland my wife will let me pack my detector.
